As the dark clouds gave way to the bright dawn break, so did the early morning silence gave way to beautiful praise and worship songs that rented the air. The praise and worship songs were sweet fragrance to God, and it immediately attracted His majestic presence.
The message for today touched deep on the subject of the unconditional love of God for His children, which is well demonstrated in Romans 5:8. It was important for our children and youth to know the extent of the Love of God for us; this helped them to know they are ‘Apple of God’s eye’ this helped to boost their esteem, knowing they are deeply loved and cared about by God.
They had a breakout group session; where they talked about things that at times draw them away from experiencing the love of God and how they feel they can be able to overcome such obstacles as young men. After the session, it was blissful to see some of the young men we have been able to walk with in our program step forward and mentor other young children; on how to stand out and change their scripts from that of shame and despair, to that of success and hope!
We are grateful to God for the seed that we planted in Simon, Antony and Josphat’s life that are now slowly bearing fruits! We are ready for the big harvest in the coming years as their stories have kindled a deep fire of our children in Molo to work hard and change the script; all for God’s glory. Soli deo Gloria!
