Neema House

Neema means “grace” in Kiswahili. The purpose of our Rescue Infant Home is to rescue abandoned babies, provide them with care and medical treatment, and eventually place them in a forever family through reunification or adoption. Our Neema House provides up to 30 babies with a home and family and a place to belong.

House of Hope

House of Hope

In the city of Molo, we partner with local leadership and local churches to respond to the needs of orphans and vulnerable children by rescuing, stabilizing and equipping them accordingly. We also help provide education for children through tuition fees, uniforms, and tutoring programs. We do this through love and care, counseling, discipleship, empowerment and mentorship in order to achieve a sustainable solution for each child.

Guardian Program

Guardian Program

Project 82 Kenya is boldly committed to ministry solutions that empower the family and surrounding community to care for the orphans among them. By offering a guardian program that focuses on microenterprise training, we help guardians gain skills that can be used to sustain their families for the long-term.

Project 82 Kenya sponsors ensure that guardians receive:

  • Training to master skills such as baking, knitting, sewing, welding, computers or bookkeeping.
  • Life skills training
  • Spiritual and emotional support
  • Hope for the future

Empowering Families

We know that children have the best chance to thrive when they grow up in a family. That’s why we’re passionately committed to sustaining families. Education, healthcare, spiritual development and skills training build the strong foundation for empowerment and self-sufficiency.

Project 82 Kenya sponsors sustain families by providing:

  • Basic necessities, such as food and healthcare
  • Preparation for older children to achieve independence
  • Life skills training
  • Support to keep families together whenever possible
  • Training for guardians to master sale-able skills, such as baking, knitting, sewing, welding, computers or bookkeeping.
